In the hammock reading Leonard Koren’s Wabi-Sabi for Artists, Designers, Poets & Philosophers. A very good book, highly recommend especially if you want to know about Japanese aesthetics

Such a delightful summer! It’s been both fun and productive. Had a goal to complete revising my novel manuscript under the working title: What Was Left Behind, and also to enjoy Colorado, get out a lot, commune with the mountains and woods. I’m happy to report that last night at exactly eleven minutes to 1am, I finished reworking the novel. Felt elated and took a while to fall asleep because of the butterflies in my tummy, a sensation I’ve come to associate with love, joy and expectation. I guess everyone who has worked on a long project for a while knows the feeling; when you eventually arrive at an end, which could be another beginning because of yet other processes required before one can hold the product. Still, we rejoice with each milestone and hope that our products will find good homes. Good reception.

To all the folks out there working indefatigably on projects, more power to you, more discipline and hope, more soul and joy, more perspiration. May you see your future selves in your creations and be at peace or fall in love, whichever you desire.

Ha, I’ve been a very bad writer my sister! I’ve failed to finish revising it once again. But I’ve finally made the decision I was shying from: I’ve put it aside for the time being and decided to work on something new. It wasn’t easy and it felt like giving up but I hope a new project will boost me or I’m afraid I’ll stop writing otherwise. I haven’t written anything complete and achieved since.
So hopefully this was the right thing to do. I guess I’ll found out pretty soon.
    Take care. Love

    Dear sister,

Is that true? Can we finally celebrate?
I’m so happy and so proud of you. Can’t wait to read you.
    Take care. Love

Yes, my dear sister, it’s out in the world looking for a home. I knew you would be happy. Thanks for standing with me. How goes your wonderful crime thriller?
